Established in the same location at 33rd & Pioneers for over 40 years, The Hair Lounge, LLC., began its vision in 2010 by owners Kendra and Lyle Trumbley. It was their dream to have a salon where team members could go to work and have fun. To be a part of something they could call their own. Kendra guides the team behind the scenes, working with over 34 years of experience. Our salon has provided hair care for the entire family as well as serving many generations. Doing so has made our salon a staple in the Lincoln, NE community. We are now proud to have expanded to include Executive Directors who can reap the rewards of salon ownership all while enjoying their careers. And Company Educators who can train our staff where and when we need it. The Hair Lounge truly is an experience in itself. We know you will enjoy our atmosphere as our stylists all share the same passion. Having fun and creating beautiful people!

If you are not 100% satisfied, we ask that you contact us within 5 days of your appointment so that we may schedule you to have your service(s) corrected free of charge (same service) at your convenience. Any issues reported longer than 5 days from the original appointment date will not immediately be considered a redo, but will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Mandy
Executive Director & Associate Stylist
Mandy has dedicated over 24 years to our salon team as the Executive Director and an Associate Stylist at our 33rd & Pioneers location. With a heartfelt passion for family haircare, she has excelled as salon manager since 2010. Her expertise encompasses grey color coverage, children’s first haircuts, and men’s haircutting. An avid outdoors enthusiast, Mandy treasures time with her husband and two daughters. When she's not in the salon, you’ll find her embracing the great outdoors and traveling to cheer on her daughter’s softball games. As an Executive Director, Mandy relishes the opportunity to influence salon ownership and oversee general operations. With her exceptional time management, engaging conversations, generous heart, and small-town charm, sitting in her chair not only offers the skilled professional you seek but also an uplifting connection that makes you feel like a new friend.
Marissa
Manager & Master Stylist
Dreams truly become a reality! Marissa, our salon manager at the South Location, is a shining example of this. A graduate of The College of Hair Design and a lifelong resident of Lincoln, her passion for hairstyling ignited during childhood visits to salons with her mom. With a fervor for enhancing people’s looks and boosting their confidence through unique cuts and styles, Marissa embraces the limitless creativity in the hair world. Her eagerness to grow alongside our salon family is evident. In her spare time, you can find her playing disc golf or enjoying the outdoors with her furry friends. As a natural leader, Marissa paves the way for others to follow. Her positivity radiates, and you’ll never see her without a smile. Being around Marissa and sitting in her chair revitalizes and inspires you to tackle your day with renewed energy!

Kyila is not only dedicated to her work but is also embracing the exciting journey of becoming a new mom this summer. She's as devoted to her furbabies and family as she is to her clients, making her a perfect fit for our team!
Madison

Meet Madison! She’s a proud graduate from the College of Hair Design in Lincoln and has always had a passion for all things hair and beauty. One of the best parts of her job is getting to meet wonderful new people, and she loves helping each guest feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. Madison specializes in stunning blonding techniques and lived-in colors, and she also has a knack for creating gorgeous long layered haircuts for women. When she's not behind the chair, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors on her farmstead, cheering on her fiancé at a rodeo, or watching him tackle bull riding!
Briley

Briley was born and raised right here in Lincoln, NE, and she’s got a true passion for all things color! Whether it’s deep, rich hues or bright, bold fashion colors, she loves it all. Plus, Briley has a special place in her heart for perms, expertly adding volume and texture to her guests' hair.
When she’s not creating fabulous looks behind the chair, you can catch her binge-watching crime documentaries or organizing things around her home (or helping out friends with theirs!). Briley can’t wait to bring her love for detail and care to every service she provides, and we know you’ll leave your appointment loving your beautiful hair!
Parvin

Pronounced PAR-VEEN - With an impressive 18 years of experience under her belt, Parvin is a true powerhouse in the world of hair and waxing services! Having held a license and practiced in three different countries before settling in Lincoln, she brings an incredible breadth of knowledge to her craft. Not only is she a master of hair and waxing, but she’s also expertly trained in threading for facial hair removal. When she’s not creating stunning looks, Parvin cherishes her time with her wonderful family and adorable grandson, filling her life with joy and laughter. Her passion for her career shines through in everything she does—always relaxed, cheerful, and dedicated to going the extra mile. She is a recent graduate from The College of Hair Design, and Laiken loves how our industry is constantly evolving, and she makes it a priority to keep up with every new trend. You'll be in awe of her natural curls and red hair. So, if you've got a natural curl, Laiken is the professional you'll want to see! Let’s raise a glass to this vibrant small-town Nebraska girl, Camryn! Bursting with energy and a true passion for color, she has a special love for stunning dimensional brunettes. As a proud graduate of the College of Hair Design, Camryn brings not just her skills but also a contagious positive attitude and an unstoppable drive for success to our salon. She’s well-versed in all things AVEDA and can't wait to share the incredible beauty and experiences it offers with her guests. Katlyn (sometimes known as "Kat") has always wanted to be a hairstylist, even as a little girl. She LOVES to provide the "WOW" factor for a makeover, and some of her favorite services are highlights, fashion, and lived-in colors, as well as extensions. Katlyn will tell you she's a chatterbox, but that's a good thing in a hairstylist, right?! You can find her at the gym or spending time with her husband and their dog when she's not doing hair.
