Established in the same location at 33rd & Pioneers for over 40 years, The Hair Lounge, LLC., began its vision in 2010 by owners Kendra and Lyle Trumbley. It was their dream to have a salon where team members could go to work and have fun. To be a part of something they could call their own. Kendra guides the team behind the scenes, working with over 31 years of experience. Our salon has provided hair care for the entire family as well as serving many generations. Doing so has made our salon a staple in the Lincoln, NE community. We are now proud to have expanded to include Executive Directors who can reap the rewards of salon ownership all while enjoying their careers. And Company Educators who can train our staff where and when we need it. The Hair Lounge truly is an experience in itself. We know you will enjoy our atmosphere as our stylists all share the same passion. Having fun and creating beautiful people!

If you are not 100% satisfied, we ask that you contact us within 5 days of your appointment so that we may schedule you to have your service(s) corrected free of charge (same service) at your convenience. Any issues reported longer than 5 days from the original appointment date will not immediately be considered a redo, but will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Kendra
Founder & President
If you're visiting The Hair Lounge on 14th & Vavrina Ln., chances are you'll run into our owner, Kendra Trumbley. Growing people for a living is her passion, so with opening a new store, this is first and foremost a dream come true. Working in the hair industry for over 30 years, 23 of which she co-owned a multi-location company, it is important to her to give back to the staff and community who have supported her over all the years. Providing the opportunity for members of the salon family to become Executive Members with profit sharing, or Independent Stylists, coaching them on their continued path to success. Paying it forward each and every day, both to staff and guests.
Mandy
Executive Director
Mandy has been a part of our salon team for over 20 years, and is the Executive Director at our 33rd & Pioneers location. She not only has a passion for family haircare, but she has been the salon manager since 2010. She is well educated on grey color coverage, children's first haircuts and men's haircutting. Mandy is an avid outdoors person and enjoys time with her husband and two girls. When she's not in the salon, you'll find her enjoying the outdoors. Being an Executive Director allows her to benefit from salon ownership and taking care of general salon operations. She has great time management, good conversations, a big heart and a small town personality.
Aloni
Team Leader - South
Creative & versatile, Aloni's love and devotion for her profession has proven to be a key factor for her success. Her ability to listen and care for the needs and wants with each of her guests, not to mention the reimagination of colors. She makes her job look effortless and most of all, takes pride in the beautiful smiles, confidence and meaningful relationships with her clients. Aloni's desire to learn the product lines, new methods and willingness to take charge to collaborate with others proves her ability to re-invent, make progress and achieve continued success in our industry. Her passion, talent and genuine care for her team are key qualities in being a successful leader.
Tatiana
Stylist - South
Tatiana comes to our salon with a plethora of experience. She's worked in a high-volume salon and an independent salon. She has a passion for hair and making people love their hair. Tatiana takes pride in what she does in all things. We love that she is spontaneous, adventurous and creative, plus, she fits in well with our salon family. Faith is her life, and she's not afraid to try anything new. When Tatiana isn't in the salon, you'll find her enjoying the outdoors, a musical or concert. Choosing her to perform your services will guarantee that you'll have a great experience and beautiful hair!!
Shaylee
Stylist - South
Beautiful hair and lashes go together! Meet Shaylee. She is a licensed cosmetologist and has been working as a lash specialist for over a year. Shaylee is excited to expand her hair expertise and grow this part of her career. Currently she is putting together a program to bring LASH EXTENSIONS to our salon, but right now, she's enjoying doing shag (aka wolf and butterfly) haircuts and is growing her color guest base. When she's not in the salon, you can find her spending time spoiling her dog Gram and enjoying the outdoors. We are excited to have Shaylee as part of our family and look forward to bringing some NEW services to our salon!

Parvin
Advanced Stylist - South
With over 18 years of experience Parvin provides a wealth of knowledge in hair and waxing services. She held a license and practiced in three different countries before settling down in Lincoln. Parvin is also trained in threading for hair removal on the facial area. She is married and has a beautiful family, including one grandson, all of whom she loves to spend time with when she's not working. Her passion is her career, and she is always relaxed and happy. Parvin will go above and beyond providing you with great services and excellent retail knowledge!
Julia
Stylist - 33rd St.
Meet Julia! A 2021 graduate of the College of Hair design, Julia grew up in Lincoln, but attended High School in Albion, NE. She loves all things related to color and her passion is creating that "lived-in" blonde look, however, Julia's not opposed to expanding her palette to work with more vivid and fashion colors too! In her spare time, you'll find her busy at home painting, or training her 2 dogs, or yes, playing with her pet rabbit! With Julia, you get the best of both worlds, beautiful hair and fun pet stories!

Now hiring for a part time position. Evenings and Saturday availability. Requirements are having a passion for hair, being a part of a salon family and a positive attitude! Experience is preferred as we have a large walk in base. New professionals are welcome to apply and we can customize a training program for you and your experience level. Will
Stylist - 33rd St.
Kind, spunky and sassy - that's Will in a nutshell! He loves a good transformation with his guests and believes a hairstylist should see people for who they are and to help them be who they want to be. Will's loves extensions and all over color. But his passion is delivering the perfect high volume blowout style. When he isn't in the salon, you'll find him grasping at more education. Some of Will's favorite things he loves to talk about are his mini schnauzers, 80's & 90's music, and definitely Italian food! Creativity & Connections are some of the reasons Will loves what he does!
Marissa
Advanced Stylist - 33rd St.
We are so excited to have Marissa as part of our family at our 33rd street location! She is a graduated of The College of Hair Design and is dual licensed in both Cosmetology and Barbering! It has always been her dream to be a hairstylist ever since she was a little girl visiting hair salons with her Mom. Marissa has a passion for people and making them look/feel better as well as creating different looks, cuts and styles. She believes that the creativity in the hair world is endless, and is eager to grow in our industry with our salon family!
Kyila
Stylist - 33rd St.
Pronounced KY-LAH, we are super excited to have this experienced professional as a part of our salon family! People are her passion, and she's creative in anything and everything she does. She enjoys men's fades and beard work, loves to do blonding and toning as well as styling hair. I guess you could say she has a passion for it ALL! Kyila has traded in her paint brushes for color brushes, and each guest is her canvas. So, if you're ready for an update, this is the professional for you!
